Steel guard components to customize your own guardrail or to replace damaged components.

• Single or double rail? Standard 18” (single-rail) or 44” (double-rail). Single-rail systems are common in warehouses at the end of racks to create a buffer around corners and to separate aisleways, and reinforce distance from warehouse truck pits. Double-rail systems are common in applications such as creating a safety area around large machinery (to avoid forklift or truck collisions), electrical panels, and for routing foot traffic since the extra height creates a more obvious physical and visual cue.
• Construction: Heavy-gauge structural steel engineered to withstand a 10,000-lb. impact at 4 mph when properly installed. Double-rail posts consist of the standard 44” high steel column supporting two rail sections. Columns are 5” x 5” x 1/8” thick with four punched ¾” holes on each side. Each column weighs a total of 45 lbs. Single-rail posts consist of the standard 18” high steel column supporting one rail section. Columns are 5” x 5” x 1/8” thick with two punched ¾” holes on each side. Each column weighs a total of 27 lbs.

• Installation:  All columns are secured at the top with a customized black plastic cap. Columns are welded to a 10” x 10” x ½” baseplate consisting of four evenly spaced ¾” diameter holes at each corner. Powder-coated Safety Yellow.
